A Volta Event

Diversity, Inclusion, and Unconscious Bias

Increasing diversity and inclusion are goals on many executive plans for their organizations. These leaders are endeavoring to generate more diversity within their businesses, not only because it’s the right thing to do, it also makes business sense. Research shows that companies high in racial and ethnic diversity are highly likely to have financial returns 35% and above their respective national industry medians. Furthermore, businesses that support diversity and inclusion in all aspects of their organization statistically outperform their peers. And if you want to create a novel solution or product and be more competitive in the market, you want a diverse team and diverse perspectives to challenge conventional thought.

This workshop will cover:

Unconscious Bias and how to deal with it in your organization.
Diversity and inclusion best practices for business success.
Question and answers with the instructors to help solve your diversity problems.
Led by Claudia Thompson, Managing Director of Inclusion and Diversity for Accenture Canada, and Zoya Zayler, Inclusion and Diversity Lead for Accenture Canada; this is a not to be missed opportunity to broaden your mind, step out of your comfort zone, and challenge your conventional thought for the betterment of your business.

Lunch will be provided.
